So, who is Dr Ross Greene?
Clinical psychologist Dr Ross Greene is the founding director of Lives in the Balance; author of The New York Times best-seller The Explosive Child, Lost at School, Lost & Found and Raising Human Beings; and, crucially, creator of the CPS model.

… and what is the CPS model?
The CPS model is evidence based and trauma informed, and directly addresses the difficulties of children with social, emotional and behavioural challenges. It is transforming thinking and practices across the world and has been associated with dramatic reductions in adult-child conflict, concerning behaviours, disciplinary referrals, detentions, restraints, suspensions and isolation. The model represents a significant departure from 'discipline-as-usual'. It is now transforming lives and practices in Warwickshire.
